Russian Longterm-Flight – Phase 1


The 15th main crew`s mission (HM-15) on the space station MIR lasted from the 8. January 1994 to the 9. July 1994 (a total of 182 days). The crew existed of the commandant (KO) of the crew, cosmonaut Viktor Mikhailovich Afanasiyev, the boarding engineer (BI), cosmonaut Yuri Vladimirovich Usachev, and the scientific cosmonaut, a doctor, Dr. Valeri Vladimirovich Poljakov.
